HIDDEN HAVEN FARMS LITTLE HUT
Hidden Haven Farm was built in Columbia CT by a single hard working mother who wanted to make a difference in the world with her love for animals. She built a beautiful nine acre farm that helped hundreds of individuals. She trained and provided therapy animal sessions that were not only held at the farm but traveled into convalescent homes and schools in the area. Eventually she began a non profit known as NEHAB. This program would provide our beloved vets with trained service dogs and animal therapy sessions for free. Her animals competed in events all over the country including ESPN helping her to gain popularity and spread the word of this program. She hosted summer camps for children teaching love and compassion for animals and our service men and women , Held frisbee leagues , fundraisers, horseback riding lessons and so much more on this beautiful property. Today we bring a little bit of Hidden Haven Farm to your community with - Hidden Haven Farms Little Hut - We plan to host a large variety of programs and events - for all ages to participate in.
Available programs
Open Play
Open play is a wonderful concept where children can be dropped off or watched during an adult class or just given some time to relax in our waiting room. These children will be able to move through an obstacle course, learning centers, and childhood games in a safe environment. We usually follow a theme / seasonal learning curriculum so please keep an eye out on our social media for center changes. This is a drop-in class (no pre-registration needed).

Little Hut CLASS

Our staff host a weekly 2hr class where children will participate in - learning centers, obstacle courses, songs, games, story time, and crafts with our therapy farm animals. This is a fun educational class following a theme/ seasonal learning curriculum.

Morning Out is a wonderful concept for the parent-on-the-go, working parent, or parents who just need some personal time. Our staff will host a 4-hour class where children will be able to move through an obstacle course, learning centers, time with our therapy farm animals, crafts and childhood games all combined with potty breaks and snack time. All snacks should be packed in a lunchbox or bag. This is offered every Monday and Wednesday (pre-registration required). We usually follow a theme / seasonal learning curriculum so please keep an eye out on our social media.
4hr - $40.00 - preregister the day before online or over the phone

Get ready for an afternoon your child will look forward to every day!
The East Windsor elementary school bus arrives around 4:00 PM, and the fun begins right away. Kids head into a welcoming classroom space where they can relax, enjoy creative activities, finish homework, and dig into their favorite snacks with BYOS (Bring Your Own Snacks). Each month brings a fresh theme to keep things exciting, engaging, and full of new discoveries.
At 5:00 PM, the adventure continues as children join one of the dynamic NX Plaza programs. Options include R2 Media Studio Lab Creation, Gymnastics, or Hidden Haven Farm, giving every child a chance to explore their interests and try something new.
The program is $200 a month. It includes the cost of the after-school program plus class.
